The Excelsa is part of a EXCELSA by Tibaldi limited edition collection of custom design rollerball pens, fountain pens and pen sets inspired by the Divine Proportion, Phi, and made by the best Italian pen making artisans of the Tibaldi company.

Tibaldi are set to make history with the Excelsa fountain pens and rollerball pens, part of their 90th anniversary handmade collection. Phi, the golden number is represented in every part of the pen, even its guarantee certificate and pen case. These designer pens are the result of years of study into the Divine Proportion and combine artistic and aesthetic standards, history and the the skills of fine craftsmen.

The handcrafted Excelsa is available in classic black resin with rose vermeil or with sterling silver. The rose or silver “clou de paris” pyramid pattern on the barrel and cap trim catches the light and gives a real sense of luxury. There are only 618 Excelsa rollerball pens and fountain pens available so this is the perfect pen for the serious pen collector to add to his pen collections.

The pen features the Tibaldi “ornament” of a pyramid cut tiger's eye or mother of pearl set into the silver work on the pen cap. The fountain pens have a fine iridium tipped expensive 18k gold nib partially plated with rhodium and featuring an eagle design. The nib is available in different sizes to suit different writing styles. The patented filling system and tank allow the pen to write for 555m per fill so it is an ideal pen for a busy executive.
